Поля ввода в InDe­sign (арифметические операции, ввод единиц)

In InDe­sign input fields (and some oth­er Adobe pro­grams — for exam­ple, Pho­to­shop and Illus­tra­tor) — you can write any­thing, and some of it pro­gram can understand.

For exam­ple, if you have pt units set, and you need to enter a val­ue in mil­lime­ters, you do not need to con­vert it man­u­al­ly — you can sim­ply enter the desired val­ue along with its units. For exam­ple, write 10mm. And InDe­sign will con­vert it to pt.

In addi­tion, you can write some­thing like 10 * 152 + 5 — and it will mul­ti­ply 10 by 15 and divide the result by 2 and then add 5.
